I am a Brazilian PhD candidate in molecular biology, currently working in Germany. I am interested in understanding how the brain works at the molecular level and how this influences behavior. I like science outreach and believe science belongs everywhere. Here, in Hands-on Scientist, I am the writer and the host of the podcast, and in both I interview young researchers about their stories and contributions to science. And my intention is to show more diverse pictures of what scientists look like.
In my free time, I enjoy discussing controversial topics, taking pictures, cooking and exploring the world.

I am a Brazilian neuroscientist, currently working in the Netherlands. I am interested in understanding how the brain works from molecular to the network level. I like almost every aspect of the scientific world, from research to science outreach. Here, in Hands-on Scientist, I will be the host of the podcast. I will interview hands-on scientists about their scientific track, their life choices and what make they decide to be scientists.
In my free time, I enjoy discussing controversial topics with my friends, play tennis, videogame, cooking and travelling.
